BioUrja Affiliate Makes Strategic Investment

West Plains LLC, a leading grain and agricultural commodity storage, supply and trading company, announced that it has entered into a strategic alliance with an affiliate of BioUrja Trading, LLC, whereby the affiliate is making a significant investment in West Plains. BioUrja is an ethanol and energy trading company based in Houston, Texas. The investment will dramatically enhance West Plains’ financial capabilities, while also opening up new business opportunities that leverage the trading strength of BioUrja. The strategic alliance will also restructure West Plains so that BioUrja’s affiliate will have control over its business operations.
